Physiotherapy helps improve mobility, reduce pain, optimise injury recovery and enhance athletic performance.
Wendy is an experienced qualified and insured Equine specialist Physiotherapist and McTimoney-Corley Therapist. As a former international event rider, she brings a unique perspective to identifying and addressing problems through physical therapy and exercise, and improving performance through awareness of the individual horse's requirements.
Each client receives an individually tailored service incorporating manual techniques, electrotherapies, management advice and exercise prescription for their animals.
She is proud to be part of the multi-disciplinary team of vets, farriers, saddle/bridle fitters, dental technicians and other equine health and welfare professionals who are essential for providing the best care for your horse. Emergency appointments are available, and even routine appointments can usually be accommodated within a couple of weeks.
Group bookings are available for physical therapy, core stability or rehabilitation exercise sessions, or talks/demonstrations for your group or club.
Based in North Gloucestershire, covering surrounding areas of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and regular visits to North Oxfordshire/South Warwickshire. Other areas by arrangement

Wendy seriously provides a head to tail service! Not just when she's physically treating my horse but even when I message her with a question or video of a issue!
My girl is quite guarded and never fully relax's in her treatment but Wendy has slowly and calmly cracked this, leaving me with a well and truly relaxed and happy mare.
I have also had my dog treated multiple times, so I can 100% recommend for horses and dogs!

Wendy spent over 2 hours working on my horse in a calm and methodical way. He had a top to toe assessment and treatment! Wendy contacted my vets before she treated him and provided them with a written report afterwards. She has also been doing regular ultrasound treatment on one of his check ligaments alternating this with an Arc Equine, which she has also hired out to me so that I can continue with regular sessions. We have also had a groundwork session in the school utilising focus exercises and poles to increase proprioception and flexibility. All of Wendy’s treatments are very affordable and the aftercare contact and support is invaluable.

Once again Wendy saved the day with my boy Eric. He had been in some discomfort and difficult to ride. Just an update, I am so grateful to you for actually knowing your job, I recommend you to everyone that asks for a physio. Hots took a big mouthful of feed this morning which he hasn't done for a few weeks now, he can clearly eat without pain, you are just remarkable... I love him dearly he is the reason I get up every day, the reason I break my back cleaning housed to give him what he needs, thank you once again.
